Raw Turmeric Macaroons
(Coloured with Pant-based Food Colours)
1/4 tsp organic ginger powder
3 Tbsp organic coconut nectar
1/4 tsp organic cinnamon powder
1 Tbsp organic turmeric powder
1/4 tsp organic vanilla extract
2 Tbsp organic cold pressed coconut oil
3 cups organic desiccated coconut
Combine all dry ingredients in the food processor and blend, then add all your wet ingredients and ‘blitz’ to combine.
Press your mixture into a tablespoon (mould) then turn your formed macaroons onto a piece of baking paper. Place the macaroons into your fridge (uncovered) for one hour to set firmly.
You can store your finished macaroons in a container in the fridge for just over a week.
We also use freeze dried raspberry powder and matcha powder to colour our macaroons.
