YOGI TURMERIC SMOOTHIE BOWL

frozen organic banana (1.5)
1/2 shot spray free fresh turmeric juice (15mls)
1 organic date (pitted)
1/5 tsp organic cinnamon
sprinkle organic black pepper
a few drops of fresh spray free ginger juice
200 mls organic coconut milk

Blend until smooth. Pour into your most stylish vessel and top with organic fruit,
raw granola and any other nutritious pieces that take your fancy.

The freshly pressed juice used at Wise Cicada creates a stronger, more pungent smoothie than a powdered turmeric blend and because we press the juice to serve immediately, it has little chance to oxidise and every chance to benefit your health greatly.

Add your choice of organic plant-based ‘mylk’, the richer the better, as the fatty acids in the ‘mylk’ support the bio-availability of your turmeric. Curcumin is fat soluble. We prefer using coconut and hemp ‘mylks’ as they both have a high omega content.

A sprinkle of cinnamon and black pepper on top also aids assimilation of curcumin and curcuminoids.

The health benefits of turmeric have been valued in Ayurvedic medicine for over five thousand years and the rest of the world  is now catching on too, with many studies proving that the active curcumin in turmeric offers high antioxidant value, digestive system support and anti-inflammatory support.
